The constant cycle of bingeing, purging or compensating in any way for the food you have eaten can on a psychological level leave you feeling trapped, isolated, and ashamed, affecting your health, self-esteem, work and relationships.

Can I relate to the above? Yes, I can, I have lived with bulimia for more than 20 years. Today I am passionate about helping men and women like you to find freedom from destructive eating patterns like bulimia and improve your quality of life.

I understand the complexities of eating disorders and offer a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to recovery.

As a registered Nutritional Therapist with personal experience of long-term disordered eating patterns, I will provide you with practical nutritional tools which can help you to break a vicious cycle.

Disordered eating patterns are often not just about food; they can be complex mental health conditions that require compassionate and comprehensive support. Since disordered eating patterns may have underlying emotional and psychological factors, I often work alongside psychologists, counsellors, and GP’s and may advice you to seek additional support.

Key Steps to Recovery

  • Understanding the physiological triggers behind disordered eating. This understanding will help you to follow a nutritional plan.
  • Building a personalized, balanced nutrition plan.
  • On a practical level, understanding your body's needs and eventually learning to listen to your body’s needs. 
  • Understanding the emotional background to your disordered eating pattern and work with a qualified counsellor where needed.
  • Developing self-compassion and self-care routines.
  • Understanding that change may take time.
  • Patience, self-love and self-forgiveness.

Together, we will take small, manageable steps toward healing, focusing on creating a balanced and nourishing relationship with food. My approach combines nutritional education with personalised strategies and health coaching to help you regain control, build lasting health and improve your quality of life.
