My Journey

My name is Karolina, and I’m a Registered Nutritional Therapist and BANT Registered Nutritionist, yoga teacher and practitioner with a deep passion for food, health and life!

My journey to where I am today began at 12 when I developed a severe eating disorder. At the age of 17 I attended my first yoga class, which has since become a lifelong commitment. Food and nutrition have always played a significant role in my life—first as part of my struggle with an active eating disorder, and later as a key tool in my recovery. Along the way, I realised, that for me, true freedom from bulimia lay in gaining a deeper understanding of how food impacts both the body and the mind. This led me to the study of Nutritional Therapy at the Univeristy of West London.

In my own health journey nutrition, food and yoga became the main pillars in my recovery both from a disordered eating pattern as well as substance use.

Today I am committed to supporting individuals to become the best version of themselves through a shift in lifestyle and eating habits.

My approach is informed by personal experience, having navigated my own journey through substance use and eating disorders. I intimately understand the challenges of managing cravings and the complexities of behaviour change.

Having once grappled with the physical and emotional toll of starvation, overeating and purging, I know how it is to live with shame and secretive behaviours related to food. I have been there. I am not there anymore. You can be where I am today, and I can guide you towards taking your first steps towards transformation and improved quality of life.

In my practice, I empower clients through nutritional education, so YOU will understand how to make nutritional choices which will promote YOUR health. Whether you aim at reversing pre-diabetes, struggles with disordered eating such as binge eating and bulimia or just want to understand how to eat to support your health goals, I will be there to help you to understand where to start and how to maintain permanent changes. My ultimate goal is to facilitate your transformation towards a nourishing and loving relationship with food, thereby breaking free from unhealthy dietary patterns.

Whether you’re looking to change your relationship with food, improve your physical health, or find balance through yoga, I’m here to support you on your journey. Let’s work together to create the healthy, balanced life you deserve.

My Approach to Wellness

I believe that true wellness begins from within, through self-reflection, self-respect, and self-love. My approach to yoga and nutrition is about creating balance, understanding your body's needs, and nurturing your well-being.

Understanding the impact of food on both your body and mind can become one of the most valuable tools in regaining control of your health. As a Nutritional Therapist, my goal is to empower you with the knowledge and tools needed to achieve sustainable, positive changes that enhances your health and improves your quality of life.

What is nutritional therapy

Nutritional therapy involves utilising food, dietary adjustments, lifestyle modifications, and occasionally supplements to aid individuals in achieving their unique health objectives, managing chronic conditions, or altering detrimental eating habits.
While not a medical discipline per se, nutritional therapy often complements conventional medical approaches. Every recommendation is individually tailored, recognising that one size does not fit us all!

In my role as a nutritional therapist, I integrate the latest evidence-based research in nutrition and health sciences to address your specific symptoms and needs. I assist in translating scientific findings into practical dietary and lifestyle strategies tailored to your unique situation. When appropriate, I may suggest supplements or advocate for functional testing.

Furthermore, I merge nutritional guidance with health coaching to dismantle any barriers which may stay in your way of progress. Additionally, I incorporate elements of yoga, such as breathing exercises and mindfulness, to foster holistic well-being.
